Team ” Feather weights “Today took on a strength session with Travis Holley Benjamin Palmer and Bentura Flores. Not sure if it was because we trained at 1pm or because I was training with what I like to call the “Feather Weights” This guys pound for pound the strongest athletes for their size I know.
Lots of people want to train with the big dudes and move big weights, but for myself I like to train with these guys that are smaller than me, but are moving as much weight as me to keep me motivated.

Skull crushers and log clean & presses
Today was cray session with Travis Holley. I should had known after he asked “how you feeling today?” By now I should know that stands for code.. “you are about to get your ass kicked”
Started off with some dynamic warm up and to get the legs warm 5 rounds you go/I go of sled walks and sprints.
Once we finished we moved back inside the garage (oh i didnt mention we train outside about 50 % of the time.. Which in Austin during the summer it might as well feel like the Sahara) Camels and all can be seen on the horizon. Anyways we had the log waiting.
On the log we went for 12 minutes working up to a one rep max clean and press. Wasn’t much time in between before we took on 3 sets of:
20 Barbell bent-over rows
15 heavy russian swings (74#)kb
10 skull crushers
5 Heavy clean 205/185#
Needs less to say Monday started off right..
